Farmington, NM – Farmington police are investigating a shooting that took place just before 12:30 this afternoon. Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of Hollywood Street around 12:28 p.m. in reference to a shots fired call. Officers arrived and learned that a 38-year-old male had been shot in the leg. The man was transported to San Juan Regional Medical Center. Police have identified and detained a 22-year-old male suspect. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
