The CALEA accreditation program requires agencies to comply with state-of-the-art standards in four basic areas: policy and procedure, administration, operations and support services.

As part of the on-site assessment, FPD employees and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public hearing on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. The hearing will be conducted at Farmington City Hall inside council chambers located at 800 Municipal Dr.

Department employees and the public are also invited to offer comments by calling the assessment team at (505) 599-1095 on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
