Farmington, NM – The Farmington Police Department, in partnership with the Bronson Family McDonald’s, will host a special Police Week Coffee with a Cop. The event will take place Saturday, May 20 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at McDonald’s located at 4750 E. Main in Farmington. The special event will include a meet and greet with members of FPD’s K9 Unit and displays by their SWAT team and Bomb Unit. In addition, the FPD District Coordinator Unit will be giving away a bicycle and McDonald’s will be providing a bike helmet to the winner.

The Bronson Family McDonald’s reached out to FPD and offered their first Coffee with a Cop in August of 2016. Since then, they’ve hosted a total of three events. The mission of Coffee with a Cop is to break down the barriers between police officers and the citizens they serve.
