PRESS RELEASE: Farmington police seeking public’s assistance in identifying shooter

Farmington, NM – Farmington police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect in a shooting that took place on April 17. Police were dispatched around 11:04 that evening to a residence on South Bowen Avenue in reference to a shooting. Officers arrived and found a 38-year-old male, later identified as Frankie D. Taylor of Farmington, in the front yard with multiple gunshot wounds.  Medics transported Taylor to San Juan Regional Medical Center. He is now in stable condition.

Photos of a potential suspect vehicle were obtained from nearby surveillance. FPD is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact San Juan County Crime Stoppers at (505) 334-TIPS. No further information is available at this time.
