Farmington, NM – The Four Corners Law Enforcement Torch Run is seeking participants for their annual Polar Plunge. This year’s event will take place at The Beach at Lake Farmington on January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Special Olympics of New Mexico. Individuals must collect a minimum of $100 in donations and may participate as a “polar plunger” or a “chicken.” Children 10 years of age and under must collect a minimum of $50 to participate. As part of the fun, individuals and teams are encouraged to come in costume. Prizes will be awarded for most money raised and best costumes.
