PRESS RELEASE: Farmington Police Department to host Summer Adventure Challenge Leadership Camp for area teens

Farmington, NM – The Farmington Police Department is seeking 20 applicants for their Summer Adventure Challenge Leadership Camp. The camp is open to students 13 to18 years of age who attend school in the San Juan County area. The purpose of the camp is to provide leadership training, life enhancing skills, personal development training, team building and to teach responsibility to one’s family and community. Participants will engage in classroom instruction, discussions, athletic challenges, community service work and other various activities. The Summer Adventure Challenge Leadership Camp will run from July 20 through the 29. Classes will be held Monday through Thursday the first week and Monday through Wednesday the second week. Applications for the camp may be obtained and submitted online at fpdnm.org. Hard copies may be obtained from any of the Farmington Police Department school resource officers.
